Marriage Proposal

Overview

The film begins with a Turkish family coming to propose marriage to an Azerbaijani family. Having met online, each of them has pretended to be wealthy, hoping to marry off their children in order to share in the other family’s riches. During the courtship process, the truth about both families’ financial struggles comes to light, and they end up becoming enemies. However, the young couple — initially treated as pawns in their parents’ plans — fall in love with each other.
